Salman cancels US trip with detention scare
Though he is heard to have brushed off Shahrukh’s recent detention incident at a US Airport, Salman is scared of facing a similar experience. And exactly for the reason, he seems to have cancelled his proposed trip to US. He was scheduled to promote his next film “Wanted” and also sell his paintings for charity. Organisers and promoters associated with these events cited Shahrukh Khan's episode at Newark Airport as a major reason for Salman to cancel his trip scheduled in early September. "However, after the Shahrukh Khan event, Salman informed us that he would not like to take the risk of coming to the US at this point," an informed source involved with the planning and organising the September 3 event told. It is understood that Salman's decision was also propelled by what his aid alleged "the hard time" being given by the US Consulate in Mumbai in approving the visa of his close associates, including one of his family members, whom Salman wanted to take along with on this trip. Another actor is Sanjay Dutt who is facing severe problems in acquiring Visas to many countries due to his TADA cases.
